• Second generation RF System - The new second generation Art Guard RF transmitter sensors will instantly notify authorities on or off premises when someone tampers with a piece of hanging art. Each unit’s transmitter is assigned a specific identity when manufactured and will notify the exact location of tamper or theft.

Manufactured using a high-quality GE micro transmitter with a 5- to 8-year battery life, Art Guard RF is as easy to install as putting a screw in the wall. It can be used with wire, D rings or cove molding hanging systems.

As with the original Art Guard device, the system provides discrete security, 24/7. In contrast, most security systems that rely on heat sensors, motion detectors or laser systems are not public friendly and must be turned off when viewers are present. Art Guard units always provide around-the-clock security and are easily deactivated when you want to move the work…which simply requires a code entry.

• Integrate with a variety of central systems - For larger galleries, museums, churches, corporate collectors and historical sites with existing security systems, Art Guard RF units can be programmed into your system. We can also recommend installers in your area capable of installing the sophisticated ELK system, with which Art Guard is compatible.

• Or plug and play - Art Guard also offers a new plug-and-play system with pre-programmed Art Guard units that can be deployed in up to 40 zones and, with the addition of the optional repeater, can cover a one half mile radius of security. Designed for smaller facilities showing fewer works, including private homes, it offers telephone and computer communication and complete compatibility with the full range of GE security sensors. It is user installed, highly affordable and easily expanded.



This basic system includes 10 pre-programmed AG RF modules, a GE/UTC Simon XT wall/desk receiver panel with back up battery, installation DVD, instruction manual, and telephone and computer cables. Tech support is available by phone. The cost is $1595. Additional Art Guard RF units cost just $145 each. An optional repeater to boost difficult distance transmission is just $60. All equipment carries a 1-year full replacement warranty.
